Recession-proof Pedicure

Everyone wants to get their toes nice for Valentine's day... or the spring-like weather we have been having here... but who can spring for a pedicure in these tough times?

I am trying to put together a pedicure routine, but struggled with the dead skin on my feet. Finally, a cheap solution... Vaseline. I slather my feet with the stuff and then put on old socks, go to bed, and after two nights-- baby soft feet! Hooray!

Any more fun, cheap ideas... bring them on!

Yes! Vaseline is ultimately one of the best things you can put on your feet if you feel your skin is not as soft as you'd like.

Another cheap idea - pork grease. It's been proven many times that clear pork grease works as one of the best face masks. Just fill the tub, jump in and cover your face and chest with a thick layer of pork great, leave it on for 15-20 minutes, wipe it off, wash it off and touch your face.. pork grease softens your skin as nothing else! Also good for all kinds of scars and eczemas.
Take care,
Julie
