Hmm, this is touch, but since it is a party I think you can get away with it. I wore Lilly to theme events in college that did not fall within the calendar wearing time!
I'm not sure many people go by the Memorial - Labor Day rule anymore. I would read that invite to mean, "Wear something comfortable, but still put together". Break out your Lilly!
